Library cards at PRPL are free to everyone, regardless of what city or state you primarily reside in. Individuals who are at least five years of age and older are eligible to sign-up to become a cardholder. However, a parent or legal guardian’s signature is required for those under 18. By agreeing to the terms and conditions, at the time of application, parents/guardians acknowledge responsibility for items borrowed, any fines or fees associated with those items, their children’s selection of materials, and any computer or internet usage while at the library.

Those who wish to obtain a library card are required to bring in one form of ID with their current name and address on them. If you complete the online card registration offsite, you are still required to bring a form of identification to the library in order to receive your card. In the event that a card is lost or damaged, a replacement card may be acquired for a fee of $1.
